The Shrill Voice

There was a shrill voice within, Longing to see the light With each passing moment It grew louder and bright. It didn't stay there for long As louder became its screams, Sounds of half-fulfilled wishes And long abandoned dreams. And then I asked those troubling voices What is your wish and what do you want? It spoke, and I replied -Y our wishes are unreasonable, And asking something that I can't.

Wordless

I looked up and gazed, Onto the computer screen. To write something, With thoughts in my head, And some ideas in my mind, But words were found missing!

Hi, Do check out some reviews of my book Somewhere @ Nowhere  http://bookreviews.bookrack.in/2011/07/somewhere-nowhere-by-nikesh-rathi.html http://inmybookshelves.blogspot.com/2011/06/somewhere-nowhere-by-nikesh-rathi.html And a small interview @ http://inmybookshelves.blogspot.com/2011/06/interview-nikesh-rathi.html

Assorted Random Semi-Verses

Memories Isn't every memory a magic? Making you lose the sense of time. Which is so much beyond the realm of logic. Though sometimes they are mere illusions But they keep coming back to you, And make you feel nostalgic! ___ The Dark Side With every talent comes a curse, From every gift speaks a caveat aloud, Even the beautiful moon has a dark side, And every silver lining has a cloud! ___ The Race Somewhere in this race, Some time during the run, I lost myself in between, And forgot to have fun. ____ I write ... I sometimes write random words, Which hardly make any sense; But I just felt that you should know, That in some corner of this little world, I do have a little presence!

Sometimes I write ...

Sometimes I write - Those wordless poems, That don't rhyme. Those story-less stories, That make no sense. These idiotic blog posts, That serve no purpose. Just that sometimes, I think that I should, Let the world know, That I exist.

Another small interview

The story theory

Every two people have some story linking them. Their story can be explained by the equation: Story = S * p(1)*p(2)/ r^2, where S = story coefficient, p(i) = expressed traits of person i, and r = similarity coefficient between persons (value range = 0-1) Above are qualitative parameters. (PS - Please don't beat me up for this)
